#1: Have a grown-up measure for you! It's a lot easier and a lot more accurate!
#2: If you don't have a measuring tape, use a long ribbon or piece of string, then transfer the length to a yardstick to determine the (your) inches!
#3: Two things: Make sure the tape isn't slack (drooping), but make sure you don't pull it too tight! It should fit comfortably against your skin!
#4:Waist measurements are taken in your natural curve, usually a few inches above your belly button. If your unsure, tie the tape around your waist then sit down and stand up a few times. It should work itself into place!
#5: Hip measurements are done against the hip bones, usually a few inches below your belly button!
#6: It is perfectly OKAY to have a different 'size top and bottom. You're unique! Celebrate that!
#7: If your measurements fall between two sizes, always order UP- never down!
